Overview

Slack integration helps teams share visibility around findings, scan activity, and follow-up work inside communication workflows they already use.

Team awareness

Make it easier for teams to stay informed about important security events.

Operational collaboration

Improve coordination between engineering and security through shared visibility.

Connect Slack from the ApyGuard integrations panel

  1. Go to Settings → Integrations.
  2. Open the Communication tab.
  3. Find the Slack card.
  4. Click Connect first or turn the toggle on.
  5. In the ApyGuard dialog, click Continue with Slack.
  6. ApyGuard redirects you to Slack so you can choose the workspace and approve the requested permissions.
  7. After approval, Slack redirects you back to ApyGuard.
  8. Return to the integrations panel and confirm the Slack card now shows Connected.

What ApyGuard does during setup

OAuth redirect

ApyGuard requests an OAuth URL from the backend and redirects the user to Slack to complete authorization.

Return to the panel

After the Slack approval step finishes, ApyGuard refreshes the integration state and shows the connection result in the integrations panel.

Re-enable or disable Slack

  • If Slack is already integrated but currently disabled, turning the toggle on enables it again without repeating the full OAuth flow.
  • To disable Slack, turn the toggle off in the integrations panel.
